Amateur What Makes A Theatre Production Amateur, For Copyright Purposes?

What makes a theatre production amateur, for copyright purposes? - amateur

Me and a group of friends, remember to make a game this fall. We intend to) pay the bills (to cover, but not enough money for everyone.

We look forward to the fees to the copyright of fans by moving to pay, in a published book, but what criteria must be met to as "amateur" are?

In order could not do the work without paying royalties to collect money for tickets. Anything ... If you produce a show, have to pay the royalties, if the collection of money for the tickets. College students meet high school students do not pay and be paid as an amateur, but has to royalty, because they pay to be allowed to attend the performance.

Well, if you do this show and do not pay the bills, then you need a special permit for the job and probably a contract stating that you are charging admission for the production sign.

I want someone in Samuel French script, or another company that publishes and provides services for colleges and schools to obtain the correct contact information.

Play to be considered a production amateur artist is not paid, although the money to cover expenses or to put it in the group is very good, basically just that no actors were professionals, the Brotherhood members are an actor or a trade union .

A group called NODA are able to reach the largest group of amateur theater in the United Kingdom and is providing information on everything you need. Their website is:

Hope this helps
